Dan Wallace, AIA

Dan's favorite projects are those that have 'a hand in the past and a foot in the future.' Whether it's a farmhouse in historic Excelsior, MN or a contemporary minimalist retreat on Madeline Island, WI, every detail is carefully studied and thought out to bring comfort to its users, both physically and psychologically. Dan designs in collaboration with the owners, to create fresh, original solutions for every site, program, and budget.

Dan currently has a number of projects being designed and under construction on the north and south shores of Lake Superior, as well as throughout northern Minnesota and Wisconsin. He has worked on projects that appear in the books Garage and The Getaway Home, both published by Taunton Press. Dan received a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and a registered architect in Minnesota and Wisconsin and is NCARB certified.
