Lynn Retreat

This project is set on a flat, wooded site with views of limestone mounds in the area. Our goal was to build low-cost, simple getaway for this family who enjoys the outdoor recreation in the area. To view the mounds from the wooded site, we placed the main living space at the top of a trapezoidal tower form. Beneath the living area in the tower are two floors of sleeping spaces with a storage area on the ground level. The limited budget required a compact and simple form with low-maintenance, sustainable materials.
