Hearth Transplant

Knocking down the wall dividing an existing sunroom and an entry hall allowed for the creation of a new family room, which became the new heart of our home. The bookcase took care of many boxes full of books picking dust in the basement, and the sliding doors were a compromise to having either the TV or the fireplace as the focal point of the room. All the art scattered through the rooms of the house now has a place to be in, same as with the family members that feel attracted to the new heart of the home.
