Guest House
St. Croix Valley
The owners chose to salvage a sadly dilapidated country house at the edge of a sunny meadow and deeply wooded bluff. The structure was to be reincarnated into a guesthouse, thoughtfully distanced from a cluster of buildings used as an artist's retreat. Its innate character was to be unassuming, spontaneous and intimate with its surroundings.
