Liepke Residence Addition
Minneapolis, Minnesota
A two-story addition now connects this 1915 Prairie-style home with the formerly-detached garage. The addition incorporates a new kitchen, casual dining area, entry hall, rebuilt pantry, half bath and new stair hall on the main level. The kitchen / casual dining area is the centerpiece of the addition. A decorative ceiling treatment unifies the room while cabinets and a change in level defines functional areas in the Prairie School tradition.
Designed by Joseph G. Metzler with Steven Buetow and Skip Liepke.
Take a panoramic tour of the Liepke addition.
