Tudor on the Creek
Minneapolis, Minnesota
With a modest yet delightfully airy Tudor as a starting point, the challenge of this project was to add a family room, kitchen, and master suite without overwhelming the scale of the original house. By projecting part of the addition into the side yard, views of the creek across the street were captured from almost every room while keeping the character of the addition consistent with the Tudor style. The design was necessarily highly detailed including some pieces of furniture in order to seamlessly blend old and new.
