Island Retreat
Madeline Island, Wisconsin
Starting as a sketch in the snow, this minimalist retreat is composed of a glass pavilion, a one-hundred-foot long wall, and a floating box. The glass-walled living space affords the occupants a view of Lake Superior, the wall houses the mechanical machines, and the box allows for a private retreat. This project is currently under construction.
