Two brothers who jointly owned land decided on the unusual plan of building a common vacation home to be shared equally by both families, with no rigid assignment of spaces to particular people. Instead, each bedroom was given its own distinct personality and each family is free to move around, choosing where to sleep according to the guest list, the weather or whim.
