Wayne Branum, AIA, Principal
Wayne joined SALA Architects in 1996 after collaborating on various projects since 1993. He received a BFA from the University of Minnesota in 1971 and attended the Rhode Island School of Design Graduate School on a fellowship. He is registered in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and New Jersey. He is also a Minnesota Certified Interior Designer.
Wayne brings years of experience in fine arts, masonry and general contracting to the design process. “Having hands on building experience brings a level of knowledge to the process that has been valuable to all aspects of projects.”
Wayne enjoys projects that can break new ground in some way. This can take the form of a difficult site, unusual program goals, sustainable practices or simply a studied use of tried and true systems. The overriding goal is the creative achievement of client goals as established by the project program.
“The design process requires the full attention and collaboration of client, architect, and builder to achieve the greatest potential outcome.”
